Teague Middle School Band *  1350 McNeil Road * Altamonte Springs,  FL  32714 * Telephone: 407-320-1468 Students in Symphonic and Concert Bands auditioned for the Seminole All-County Honors Band each year in November. They are picked from all of the middle school bands in Seminole County based on their performance during the audition which consists of scales, a Prepared Piece or exercise, and sight-reading. The All-County Middle School Honors Band rehearses with an outstanding guest conductor and performs in a concert before an audience of Seminole County school board members, school administrators, band directors, and families and friends. The following students represented Teague Middle School in the 2010-2011 Seminole All- County Honors Band: Nicholas, Flute; Angela, Flute; Emily, Flute; Cory, Clarinet; Shannon, Clarinet; Dongkyu, Clarinet; Joseph, Clarinet; Rebekah, Clarinet; Joey, Bass Clarinet; Brianna, Bass Clarinet; Jesse, Bassoon; Erick, Alto Saxophone; Alyssa, Alto Saxophone; Adam, Trumpet; Ryan, French Horn; Solomon, Trombone; Jared, Trombone; Amy, Euphonium; Gabriella, Euphonium; Eric, Tuba; Madison, Percussion and Thomas, Percussion. “My All-County Band experience could only be described by one word, awesome.  The people, the music, and the atmosphere  was awesome.  Not to mention that I got  to miss a whole day of school!  I got to  play some truly spectacular music that  was challenging and fun.  It made me  study and work hard but it paid off when I  was on stage and the audience was clapping wildly.  All I have  to say is to audition for All-County when you can and if you  study hard, you can be part of it too.  There is nothing scary  about it.  You won’t regret it!”   - - Amy (2009-2010 & 2010-2011 All County Member) “My experience at All-County was fun and laid back.  There was a  relaxed atmosphere, which is the best conditions for a band to  prosper in.  The music we played was fun  and challenging.  We took breaks that  helped to keep us calm and playing at our  best.  On the Friday that we had practiced  all day was the most fun practice of all.  My  favorite part of All-County was when we got to go off campus on  buses for lunch.  All the Teague kids made our own All-County  inside joke.  Over all, it was a ton of fun and I can’t wait to see if I  get in next year.”   - - Jared (2009-2010 All-County Member)
